How to use the MeasureRIGHT™ Pro for a standard floor tile installation
	Now the beauty of a tile floor can be yours without the tedium of all the math! Begin with the proper layout of your tiles.

Begin by finding the center of the room.

From the center of the room where you've placed your first mark, add a mark at the top of the room and the bottom.

		Use your TileRIGHT™ Chalk Line to snap a line across the floor.
		Repeat steps 1, 2 & 3 for the width of the room.

	Proper tile measurement and layout
	Utilizing the MeasureRIGHT™ Pro and simple chalk lines, you can lay out your tiles more accurately.

Set three (3) tiles in a row, measure two (2) tiles width including grout joints. For 18" Tile, a good grout joint is generally 1/4" or 3/8" wide. Write your measurement down. Carefully mark that distance down on the floor. For example, if your measurement is 36", you would mark that on the floor with your chalk line. From the center of the room, carefully mark that distance down on the floor. For example, if your measurement is 36", you would mark that on the floor with your chalk line. From that first mark, you will continue to set a chalk line every 36" until you reach the wall. From the center again, go in the other direction until the entire floor has been marked for your tiles.   When finished with all of your marking, your floor should have a grid of chalk lines that look like the sample to the left.

	Now, set the tile
	Lay four (4) tiles at a time in each square you've already blocked out with your chalk line.

Spread thinset in 1 or 2 squares on the grid using TileRIGHT™ SpreadRIGHT™ trowels, either 1/2" or 3/8" for 18" x 18" tile.

Continuing laying all of your whole tiles out. For better results, to ensure proper grout joints, use TileRIGHT™ Spacers.

	Measuring and marking your cuts
	Lay four (4) tiles at a time in each square you've already blocked out with your chalk line.

One final note: When you get to the wall and the next piece is your cut tile, don't bother to measure or add and subract grout joints.
